Owner Representation
Engagement intake, asset onboarding, capital planning, monthly accounting and reconciliation, quarterly written reporting, and principal-level correspondence on matters of consequence.
Silk Oak Management operates as a private practice and not a marketing operation. We are retained for the long term stewardship of real property assets, with the discipline such responsibility demands.
Each property within our care is administered under a documented operating framework — covering accounting, maintenance schedules, tenant relations, capital planning, and compliance. The framework is the same for a single townhouse and a multi-asset portfolio.
We measure success by quiet metrics: tenant tenure, deferred-maintenance avoidance, distribution consistency, and the absence of avoidable surprise.
Silk Oak Management serves owners across California's Central Valley — principally Merced, Madera, and Fresno counties — administering residential, agricultural, and commercial holdings under a single discipline.

Engagement intake, asset onboarding, capital planning, monthly accounting and reconciliation, quarterly written reporting, and principal-level correspondence on matters of consequence.
Tenant qualification and selection, lease structuring and renewal, rent collection, dispute resolution, and tenancy records — applied uniformly to residential, agricultural, and commercial occupants.
Preventative maintenance schedules, vendor coordination, inspection cadence, deferred-maintenance avoidance, and compliance with applicable jurisdictional requirements across the Central Valley.

Born and raised in California's Central Valley, Chelsie brings a native's understanding of the region — its communities, its housing stock, and the rhythms of the people who live and work here. That local fluency informs every property she oversees, grounding the firm's work in place rather than in abstraction. She knows first-hand what goes into the craft of stewarding a home and a tenancy in this part of the state.
As Managing Director, Chelsie directs the day-to-day operations of the firm. Her operating philosophy is straightforward: the client's work is completed promptly, communicated clearly, and documented thoroughly. Requests are not allowed to age. Vendors are held to schedule. Owners are kept current. The result is an administration that moves at the pace the client deserves, without sacrificing the discipline the asset requires.

Born and raised in California's Central Valley to a generational farming family, Dean was shaped by the values that define enduring stewardship — patience, accountability, and a respect for the work that compounds quietly over decades. That inheritance informs how the firm approaches every property under its care.
After earning his real estate license, Dean served as Special Projects Manager for a local asset management firm, where he developed the operational and analytical foundation that would later become the backbone of Silk Oak Management. He founded the firm to bring institutional discipline to the long-term care of private real property.
As Co-Founder and Broker of Record, Dean sets the overall direction and scope of the practice and leads client engagement at the principal level. He works in close partnership with Chelsie, whose Managing Director's office governs day-to-day administration — a division of responsibility that gives clients both strategic continuity and operational precision.
We treat each property as a physical instrument under our protection — not as a transaction.
If a decision is not written, it did not happen. Owners receive complete records on a quarterly cadence.
We avoid speculative expenditure, cosmetic upgrades without return, and trends without precedent.
Selectivity at the inception of a tenancy is the single greatest contributor to long-term asset performance.
